All local Rotary Clubs and other service clubs
are warmly invited to participate and partner in the Rotary Donate A Car
program.
| HOW IT WORKS: |
Individuals can donate cars, trucks, vans, boats, or motorhomes to the program and receive a tax receipt for the
value of the sale (less costs*). |
| |
|
| RECYCLING PROGRAM:
|
If the vehicle is not suitable for sale it can be
towed away and disposed of through our Recycling Program and
will generate a tax receipt for Min. $50.00. |
| |
|
| REVENUE SHARING: |
Your registered charity or a registered charity of your choosing will receive one half of the net proceeds from
the sale of the vehicles! |
| |
|
| TO PARTICIPATE:
|
Have the donor call our Rotary Donate A Car telephone number
1-888-431-4466 and mention your Club or Organization. It’s that simple! |
| |
|
* The following are examples of costs that
may reduce the tax receipt:
Towing fees (variable depending on distance).
Vehicle refurbishing costs prior to sale if needed
(ie. replacement battery, a tire, etc. ...all done as cheaply as possible).
Auction selling fees or other selling
charges for the resale of the donated vehicle.

BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation
The BCAA Traffic Safety
Foundation is proud to be a donate-a-car partner with
The White Rock Millennium Rotary Club. We work with
families, communities and business partners to reduce
the number and severity of traffic crashes and injuries
in BC. We find it unacceptable that every year in BC,
car crashes kill the same number of people as there are
passengers in a loaded 747 jet and injure the equivalent
of a full house at BC Place Stadium.
We are a charitable
organization and contributions received from the
donate-a-car program go towards the development and
expansion of programs such as Living Well and Driving
Well for Mature Drivers, Child Passengers Safety, School
Safety Patrol and Young drivers. Visit us at

Canadian Wheelchair Foundation
Wheelchair Foundation Canada is a non-profit organization that seeks to
deliver a wheelchair to every child, teen and adult that needs one, but
can not afford one -- bringing new independence to those deprived of
mobility by war, disease, accident, natural disaster or advanced age.
Your
$125 donation will allow us to deliver a wheelchair to a person in need.
